SSBA/SSDL 2023 call for abstracts and papers

The joint 40th Swedish Symposium on Image Analysis (SSBA) and 6th Swedish Symposium on Deep Learning (SSDL) is arranged by Linköping University, together with the Swedish Society for Automated Image Analysis, and will take place at Vildmarkshotellet in Kolmården, March 13-15 2023.

We invite researchers from academy and industry to contribute to our joint symposium.

SSBA is open for (the usual) short papers on any topic in image analysis, computer vision or pattern recognition. Contributions will primarily be presented orally.

SSDL is open for extended abstracts on any topic of interest within AI, machine learning or deep learning. The contributions will primarily be presented as posters. A number of the submitted contributions will be chosen for oral presentation alongside the keynote talks at the symposium.

The symposium is meant to be a snapshot of interesting activity in Sweden, and thus we welcome previously published material, and material that you plan to publish elsewhere. Contributions to SSDL and SSBA will not be made openly available online.

We plan to open for submissions and registrations in January 2023.

More details about the event can be found on the symposium webpage:

New this year:
Due to the location, accommodation will be included in the regular conference fee, and there will be a cap on the number of attendants. Therefore, late registrations may be difficult to accommodate, and there will be no registration on site. You must register in advance (the hard deadline is February 20).

Hope to see you all in Kolmården in March!
